If you told me two years ago that I’d be swapping my gardening spade for a barbell, I would have laughed you right out of my greenhouse. For 15 years, I was a professional gardener. I was physically fit, active, and moving circles around most 62-year-olds. Then, last year, life shifted. I stepped away from the commercial gardens to become the full-time carer for my 93-year-old Mum. When Mum came into my care, she weighed just 5 stone.
